Recurve bows have been around for centuries – they’re one of the most popular types of bow and are the only bow used in the Olympics.

They’re recognized by the thin frame and long limbs that extend facing away from the user’s face. A good recurve bow will be relatively quiet, powerful, and easy to use. If you’re after a bow that ticks all boxes, then you’re sure to love our review today.

Keshes Takedown Hunting Recurve Bow Product Review

If you’ve not heard of the name KESHES before, you’re not the only one – it’s a small family-owned business that’s sole aim is to make high-quality and efficient products that make it easier for people to reconnect with themselves and nature.

You won’t find any KESHES compound crossbows – they’re focused on traditional bows that allow you to get in touch with nature.

One thing we love about the KESHES Takedown Hunting Recurve Bow is that it comes with necessary accessories. In the box, you’ll get:

  • Wooden Riser
  • Black limbs
  • Dacron bowstring (14 strands)
  • Stringer tool
  • Stick on arrow rest
  • Full eyesight set

We love how easy this bow is to assemble – even if you’ve never assembled a bow before, you should get it done quickly and easily with the KESHES Takedown.

Firstly, connect the limbs onto the riser using the 2 bolts included.

Then, place the end of the string with the bigger loop onto the top limb, and slide it down so it goes past the groove, allowing the smaller loop to go onto the lower limb.

Then, take the bigger black rubber of the stringer tool, and use it to push onto the bottom limb tip to lock the loop into the groove.

Using the smaller rubber, push it to the tip so it leaves the groove open.

Step on the stringer tool, and pull the riser towards yourself and slide in the top look into its groove.

You’ll know when it’s done when both ends of the string are resting in the string grooves on the upper and lower limbs.

Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned archer, you’re sure to appreciate the performance that this bow offers. The drawback weight ranges from 15 pounds to 55 pounds, making it a versatile bow, perfect for use in all environments.

You’ll certainly get your money’s worth with this bow, especially as it grows with you – you can add on more advanced accessories as you build your skill, and up the draw weight as you get more experienced, or need to hunt larger game.

If you’re a left-hander, you’ll be glad to know that this bow is suitable for both left and right-handed users. It’s refreshing to see the left-handers getting included!

If you’re right-handed, just use the bow with your left hand and draw with your right, and vice versa for left-handed use.

If you’re unsure about this bow, then it’s not the end of the world if you get it and aren’t satisfied. KESHES has a 100% satisfaction policy, which guarantees you a full refund if you’re not 100% satisfied.

It’s a general rule of thumb that high quality comes with a high price tag, but the KESHES Takedown Hunting Recurve Bow is certainly an exception to this rule.

Not only is it easy to use, but it has a high performance and easy assembly too, making it perfect for beginners and younger bowmen.

So, what do you think of the KESHES Takedown Hunting Recurve Bow? Would you use this for hunting or target shooting?
