SA Sports Recurve Fever Crossbow Product Review
The Fever Crossbow comes with all the accessories you expect from an SA Sports delivery;
o Shoulder sling
o Rope cocking device
o Stringer cable
o 4×32 Multi-Range scope
o 16” Aluminum Bolts x 4
The Fever is one of the easiest crossbows to assemble on this list, taking no longer than thirty minutes for full assembly. The SA Sports Fever comes in at less than 5lbs, perfect for younger, and smaller framed bowmen, to avoid fatigue during use.
With a draw weight of 175lbs, I would have expected a higher return of speed and power from the Fever given the effort required to cock it. With a fpke of 50 ft. Lbs the Fever does have enough power to stop a deer, but only just.
The price of the SA Sports Fever makes it a perfect entry-level model for youths who have expressed an interest in crossbows. Ideal for stationary target shooting and practicing safe use of a crossbow, I would not recommend you let your young ones go hunting with this bow.
Like most bows designed for younger users, this bow features an anti-dry fire mechanism and safety feature that works well. An entry-level bow, the Fever will serve you well; providing a perfect platform for learning the basics of bowmanship until it is time to upgrade
