WDLHQC Arrows Archery Practice Hunting Arrows with Removable Tips Product Review

Are you a beginner looking to take your first steps into the world of archery? Or an experienced bowman wanting to brush up on their skills? Then these might be the best, wallet-friendly, practice arrow solution.

Made from a fiberglass material, WDLHQC arrows have a stock shaft length of 31” (including nock & tip) with a reasonably girthy 8mm diameter – providing durability & maximum energy transfer on impact, and stability during flight.

Half-moon nocks are pre-installed and made this an ideal arrow for use with modern compound or recurve bows. Because of their lightweight construction, these arrows are suitable for youth archers, reducing the onset of fatigue throughout use.

The provided field point tips are constructed from stainless steel that features a nickel plating and remains solid over many practice target sessions, keeping their point without dulling. And once the tips do become dull, they can be replaced – with alternate tips sourced easily from your local archery store or online.

Plastic vanes replace the traditional fletching typically found on arrows, as a cost-saving measure.

For archers not used to using arrows with plastic vanes, it may feel strange for your first several shots; yet, they are easily adjusted to. Some archers become unnerved by plastic vanes, as they can become bent or warped through use & storage.

However, this can be reversed by soaking them in warm water for several minutes – returning them to their original shape. Too many times have I seen novice archers throwing away perfectly serviceable arrows because they were unaware of the correct maintenance for their equipment.

As always, best safety practices must be adhered to when using fiberglass arrows, and they must be checked for damage before each use – to avoid any splintering. All youth archers should always remain under supervision during target practice.

For anyone interested in bowhunting, these arrows should be reserved for practice only, whether on a target round or 3D replica target. Using them during hunting is irresponsible and could lead to injury.

Summary

If you are a bowhunter, WDLHQC Arrows are best used during the off-season to hone and refine your technique. For field archers, you will find plenty of use from these arrows as they are well suited for practice in all target archery disciplines.

With that being said, these are an excellent option for anyone looking for a wallet-friendly practice arrow – particularly if you are a novice. Providing you with a durable set of arrows until you are ready to advance onto more intermediate gear or the season starts again.
